Resolved an issue where users whose permissions went from Workflow Author down to Workflow Editor were still able to see the Duplicate and Delete buttons, even though they could not use those functionalities.

Resolved an issue where Snowflake was listed as an execution engine when Snowflake accounts with different roles were used in a workflow.

The Default role no longer includes permissions to Flows by default. Instead, the Designer Cloud Creator role now includes Author permissions to Flows.

You now have access to your Reports on the Library page. Use the 3-dot menu next to each Report to open, schedule, or delete a Report.

Improved performance for users with over 1000 files and folders.

AAC now restricts file uploads to supported file types only.

Added Parquet file support to the Data page. You can now upload Parquet files and then use them with the Input Data tool in Designer Experience.

Added support for Excel output to an external S3 location.

Added the option to append data to a sheet in an existing Excel file.

The Flows tab was sometimes hidden from users that had sufficient permissions.

Designer Cloud Workflow runs sometimes failed after changing engine selection.

An option to export Designer Cloud Workflows was exposed, even though the user could not use it.

Added a Browse Data button when you hover over your connections on the Connections page. Select Browse Data to go to that connection's Import Data page.

Added a Connect to Data link to the Input Data tool configuration panel in Designer Experience. Select Connect to Data to go to the Data page, then select a dataset for the Input Data tool.

Alteryx Analytics Cloud is now hosted within the EMEA and APJ regions. This regional availability supports EU and Asia Pacific customers who have tightly regulated data. Additionally, this availability helps customers conform to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Australian Privacy Act requirements, along with other rules and regulations on data usage.

You can now use Databricks as your Spark engine to run workflows. Leverage Databricks' advanced capabilities for distributed data processing while you work in your familiar AAC environment.

For Workspaces using a Private Data Plane, you can now run Spark jobs in Amazon EMR. To learn how to enable EMR, go to Private Data Processing.

Resolved an issue where you couldn't use datasets as Designer Cloud inputs when the datasets came from relational connections and the columns had duplicate names with numerical suffixes (for example, column and column1).

Resolved an issue where the number of columns attribute was sometimes incorrect for input datasets in Designer Cloud.

Resolved an issue so that you can now create an AWS connection when aws mode is set to user.

We now support the Google Analytics 4 connector. Use the new connector to create a GA 4 connection to one of the two schemas: Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4.

The Shopify connector now supports both an API key and a new Access Token authentication method. We recommend that you move to the new Access Token authentication method.

In the Designer Cloud Output tool, you can now browse through a list of your files and folders. You can also perform a search within a particular directory. The search keyword only applies to files and folders under the directory you are currently in, it won't continuously search for downstream folders.

Resolved an issue where newly uploaded files were not immediately visible in the list of datasets in the Input tool in Designer Cloud.

Resolved an issue where Snowflake datasets created from XLSX files couldn't be used in the Designer Cloud Input tool.

Resolved an issue where workflows failed when Snowflake was the selected engine and the workflow included an input imported via an SFTP connection.

You can now create a dataset with parameters to import multiple CSV files at once (go to Create Dataset with Parameters for more information). Use the parameterized dataset with the Input tool in Designer Cloud to get results from all the data that match the parameters.

You can now share datasets with other users in your workspace.

Resolved an issue where workflow jobs showed "Dataset deleted" instead of the asset name.

Resolved an issue where workflows could be run in Designer Cloud when the output tool wasn't configured properly. An appropriate error is now shown.

Resolved an issue where the Designer Cloud output tool didn't retain publish settings when incompletely configured, using a connection, and closed by clicking somewhere else on the canvas.

Resolved an issue where files saved directly under the S3 bucket were incorrectly displayed under a folder with a blank name.

Resolved an issue where characters were not allowed in an output file name, but were accepted until a workflow was run, then it failed. Now an error is displayed when the incompatible characters are entered.

Updated the Auto Insights tile on the landing page to directly go to Auto Insights, rather than opening a pop-up window. If you are eligible, you will automatically sign in to Auto Insights, or a new Auto Insights trial will be created for you.

Added functionality to the Switch Workspace list in the Profile menu. If you have access to multiple workspaces, you can now search and scroll through a list of the workspaces. Additionally, a checkmark next to a workspace name indicates your current workspace.

Resolved an issue where the Run button was available for Workflows with a misconfigured output tool on the Designer Cloud canvas.

Resolved an issue where the scheduling window disappeared when the hourly frequency field was displayed but the start field was manually emptied.

Resolved an issue where the default storage showed as N/A when AWS credentials were already set up for the workspace. Default storage now reflects the AWS connection defined for the workspace.

Resolved an issue where S3 connections could get into a bad state when aws.mode = 'user'.

Resolved an issue where Dataset imports were failing for Redshift IAM connections.

You can now pushdown to Snowflake and then output to a file. Pushdown provides faster processing and lower compute costs. These are the supported file types for Snowflake pushdown:

Resolved an issue where users were able to run a Snowflake full pushdown job with an External S3 source, resulting in a job failure. This isn't supported at the moment; AAC only supports the admin/user level S3 for full pushdown.

Use the recently released Machine Learning Upload task in Plans to train an ML model in an existing project. The ML Upload task connects to existing task outputs.

You can now use the Output tool in Designer Cloud to save CSV files to customer-provided Base S3 Storage or Alteryx Data Storage, which is an Alteryx-managed S3 storage. Use this capability to easily output a CSV file to Alteryx Analytics Cloud. You can then use this file as input for another workflow or application without downloading data onto your physical machine or leaving Alteryx Analytics Cloud.

Improved load time for asset table UI when displaying more than 100 records.

Resolved a vulnerability where some of the connectors we support might have been able to access unauthorized resources that were available in its container or within the cluster.

Resolved an issue where some errors were rendered as empty when editing a Dataset name or description from within the Designer Cloud Input tool.

Resolved an issue where an error was incorrectly shown in the tool config of a newly added output tool after a former job run had already been completed. Now, messaging indicates that the user needs to run the job to see the output.

Resolved an issue where users of the Designer Cloud Input tool were unable to select a dataset that was uploaded on the Import Data page.

Resolved an issue where CSV output differs from its input when ToNumber is used.

Resolved an issue where some previously successful Snowflake connections were unable to connect, with the error: "SSLPeerUnverifiedException: Certificate doesn't match any of the subject alternative names: [*.drtst.org, drtst.org]."

Use the ML Upload task type upstream of a task with a CSV output. Note that uploading a new CSV input to an existing ML project will not automatically retrain your model. To retrain your model, go to the Auto Model stage in Machine Learning.

Use the ML Prediction task type downstream of a task that outputs a CSV file. The CSV file must be compatible with the model session selected.
