Microsoft Access - Alteryx Driver

Alteryx supports the Microsoft 2013, 2016 and 365 runtimes for reading from and writing to .accdb files.

Configuration

The File Format Options in the Output Data Tool available for Microsoft Access (.accdb) files provide the following functionality:

  • Append Existing

  • Delete Data & Append

  • Overwrite Table (drop)

  • Create New Table

Known Issues

  • Loading table names and refreshing data in the Input tool for 32bit Access files produces an error. See Community article for more information.

  • The Visual Query Builder will not load for Access runtime 2016 and 365.

  • Alteryx cannot write to DateTimeExtended fields.
