Release Notes for Workspace Execution
You can run or schedule your Designer workflows in the cloud. When you link Designer with your Alteryx One workspace, you can take advantage of Workspace Execution. Save your Designer-built workflows and Analytic Apps to your Alteryx One Library (part of your Alteryx One workspace). From the Alteryx One Library, you can run or schedule those workflows, and also run your Analytic Apps on demand.

What's New
Workspace Execution on Alteryx Data Plane
Workspace Execution (formerly Cloud Execution for Desktop) is now available on the Alteryx Data Plane (formerly Shared Data Plane) for Alteryx One Enterprise accounts. Alteryx Data Plane uses Alteryx One’s Software as a Service (SaaS) environment to process data, meaning you don’t have to worry about infrastructure because it’s fully managed by Alteryx. Workflows run in isolated, secure compute, with full data isolation between customers and workspaces.
Workspace Execution on the Alteryx Data Plane is auto-provisioned for new workspaces in your Alteryx One Enterprise account (unless you currently use a Private Data Plane). For details, go to Workspace Execution on Alteryx Data Plane.

Run Desktop Analytic Apps in Alteryx One
You can now run your Designer Desktop-built Analytic Apps in the cloud. Workspace Execution lets you link your Alteryx Designer Desktop instance to an Alteryx One Platform workspace and then save your desktop-built Analytic Apps to the Alteryx One library (which belongs to your Alteryx One workspace). Once saved to the library, you can navigate to Alteryx One and run your apps via the UI (which utilizes the power of App Builder to help render the app in Alteryx One).
For details, go to Run Desktop Analytic Apps in Alteryx One.
