Set Variables Tool for App Builder

Use Set Variables to set the value of global variables.
Create Variables
Before you can configure the Set Variables tool, you must first create variables:
Navigate to the Variables panel in the Orchestrate or Design tabs.
Enter a Variable Name.
Select a Variable Type. For more information, see Data Types.
Enter a Default Value, if desired. Options for this value change depending on your selected Variable Type. For example, if you select a Boolean Variable Type, your options are limited to True and False.
Select Create. Your new variable is added to a list at the top of the panel.
Edit Variables
To edit an existing variable:
Select the edit icon
next to the variable you wish to edit.
Edit the Variable Type, Default Value, or Override Value.
Select the edit icon
to close the edit options. Your variable changes will be saved locally. To save them overall, select Save.
Delete Variables
To delete a variable:
Select the edit icon
of the variable you wish to delete.
Select Delete Variable.
Configure the Tool
In the Set Variables tool configuration panel, select a Variable. You can enter the variable name or select one from the dropdown.
Select Set Variable.
Select your variable from the dropdown.
Select Save.
You can set multiple variables by repeating the process for your different created variables.
Remove Variable
To remove a variable, select Remove.
