Auto Column Tool
Use Auto Column to evaluate an input datastream and automatically assign a supported data type for each column in the input based on the data contained within the column.
The tool correctly assigns a numeric column to a string data type where any row starts with zero and not a number.
Configure the Tool
In Select Columns to Change, check the checkbox for the columns to autoconfigure. You can check the checkbox for each column individually or check Select All.
Running a workflow can introduce new columns that were unknown at configuration time. Check the checkbox for Dynamic or Unknown Columns to include dynamic or new columns.
