Use the Load Dataset tool to use data from a Alteryx Analytics Cloud dataset.

The Load Dataset tool uses data inferencing and always takes advantage of proper datatypes.
To select the Alteryx Analytics Cloud data you want to use to construct your application, select Browse. Select the dataset you want to use from the table, then select Select. Alternatively, select Import Data to upload a new dataset to Alteryx Analytics Cloud.
Data Load Indicators
The Load Dataset tool displays a loading indicator while the dataset is being loaded. The indicator lets users know that the process is in progress. It disappears once the data becomes available at the output anchor.

App Builder is compatible with all AAC-supported datasets, including both file-based and connectivity-based datasets.
An error message is displayed within the tool configuration, in cases where the tool cannot connect to the select datasets. This alerts users to the issue right away and helps them quickly identify and resolve the connection problem.
