Plans View for Auto Insights Tasks
In Plan View, you can create an Auto Insights task to refresh your Auto Insights dataset with new data from an upstream workflow.
In Designer Cloud, create a workflow that outputs data to the Analytics Cloud dataset used in your Auto Insights dataset.
In Plans, add a Workflow task to your Plan canvas, then select the workflow from step 1.
Add an Auto Insights task to your Plan canvas.
Connect the ON SUCCESS or ALWAYS output anchor of the Workflow task to the Auto Insights task input anchor.
In the right context panel of the Auto Insights task, select a dataset you want to refresh.

The Auto Insights task will perform a data refresh from the Analytics Cloud dataset already configured in the Auto Insights dataset.
(Optional) Connect the output anchor of the Auto Insights task to another task such as the Slack task to notify users of the completed dataset refresh.
Select Run to run the Plan. Once the run completes successfully, the Auto Insights Dataset is ready to use.
