Capabilities

Alteryx One gives account administrators control to disable access to products, capabilities, and features across the enterprise. When disabled, these capabilities are removed for all user roles.

To enable or disable a capability:

  1. Go to the Admin Console.

  2. Select the Capabilities tab.

  3. Select a product section to manage available capabilities.

    For more information about these sections, refer to Alteryx One, Cloud Execution for Desktop, Designer Desktop, Designer Cloud, Auto Insights, Plans, App Builder, and Server.

  4. To save your changes, select Save.

  5. A confirmation window appears. If you disabled any capabilities, they are listed.

  6. To confirm, enter DISABLE, then select Disable.

    To cancel your changes, select Revert Changes.

Disable AI-Powered Functionalities

The AI-powered functionalities are Copilot, LLM Connectivity, Gen AI Tools, and Auto Insights.

To disable them, select:

  • Alteryx One, then clear the Copilot and LLM Connectivity checkboxes.

  • Designer Cloud, then clear the Gen AI Tools checkbox.

  • Auto Insights, then clear the Auto Insights checkbox.

After clearing the checkboxes, select Save, then follow the prompts to confirm or cancel your changes.

Alteryx One

Enable or disable capabilities for Alteryx One.

Note

Some core capabilities cannot be disabled and are always on.

These include: Alteryx One, Audit Log, Billing, Licensing, Settings, Users, and Workspace Management.
