Disaster Recovery and Back-Up Frequency
Standalone Auto Insights Deployments (hosted on Microsoft Azure)
This section outlines how the Alteryx team can recover Auto Insights data hosted on Microsoft Azure, and the frequency of backups:
All backups have a retention period of 7 days.
Virtual machine and disk backups occur daily.
Azure Database for MySQL server uses data files and the transaction log to provide restoration to any point in time within the retention period.
Azure Storage is geographically redundant using Azure GRS.
Note
Cloud storage is used to back up data for recovery in case of widespread data loss, and cannot be used to restore data for an individual customer.
