Manage Dataset
The Datasets page lets you create, review, and configure your Auto Insights Datasets.
Create Dataset
From the Datasets page, select Create dataset in Admin Portal to upload your data to Auto Insights. See Import Data via Admin Portal.
You can also import data via Alteryx Designer using the Auto Insights Uploader tool. See the Auto Insights Uploader Tool article to learn how.
Review Datasets
The Datasets page lists all datasets that you can access.
Name—Name of the dataset.
Access restriction—Datasets can be configured as one of 3 access levels:
Global datasets are sample datasets provided for evaluation by Auto Insights.
Public datasets will be shared with all Auto Insights users in your organization.
Private datasets are shared only with specific users. For more information on dataset sharing, see Dataset Access.
Last refresh—Timestamp for the last time this dataset was updated.
Select Launch dataset to use this dataset in a Mission. See Create Missions.
For users with ‘owner’ access to a dataset, the 3-dot menu displays. Select the 3-dot menu next to your dataset to view these options:
Edit settings: Review and adjust the configuration settings for this dataset.
View goals: Upload a goal or target dataset for additional analysis against your main dataset.
Rename dataset: Change the name of the dataset.
Delete dataset: Delete the dataset.
Avertissement
Deleting a dataset removes all configuration and data stored for this dataset in Auto Insights.
Missions and Subscriptions that use this dataset will no longer be able to access it.
